The Williams Lake team has been working hard to make our section of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail accessible to the general public. The Williams Lake Project recently helped connect the Rail Trail to the Rosendale Trestle as well as opening the 1.5-mile section of the trail that passes through the Williams Lake property. The 2013 Labor Day Celebration at Williams Lake, hosted by Anita Peck, was a huge success. A gathering of former employees of the Williams Lake Resort enjoyed a lovely afternoon of delicious food and drink and a beautiful journey down memory lane. The weather (for the most part) cooperated nicely for a heartfelt celebration of stories, laughter and song.
