Ulster County Executive Mike Hein delivered the 2015 State of the County Address on Thursday, January 15, 2015. The Williams Lake Project was highlighted in the tourism section of the presentation. You can read the full speech here.
“We are in the midst of an exciting expansion in our tourism and hospitality industry with projects like Williams Lake and others all around our county.”
In addition, we are thrilled to announce the start of construction activities in 2015. We have completed all approvals, including DEC approvals (SEQR Findings Statement and Permits), Town of Rosendale Approvals (Zoning, Master Plan, Water/Sewer), Local Sourcing and Workforce Housing agreements, NY State Historic Preservation Office approvals and US Army Corps of Engineers wetland approvals.
This is a very exciting time for Rosendale, Ulster County, and the Hudson Valley as a whole, as tourism takes a lead in economic development initiatives. Stay tuned for more information about our next steps.
