On Wednesday, December 4th, 2013, the Rosendale Town Board voted to approve the Williams Lake Project Master plan. The Williams Lake Project is now able to move forward with our plans for demolition and infrastructure development to begin in 2014. Also, we are working to formalize a Local Sourcing Agreement with the Town of Rosendale for a sustainable development of the new Williams Lake Resort and Spa. Thank you to everyone who assisted and supported the Project, and helped us reach this milestone.
“The approval of the Master Development Plan, clearly improved by the thoughtful comments of the public and involved agencies, is an exciting step forward. We are actively working right now with the Town to complete a Local Sourcing Agreement, which will formalize our commitment to source local contractors, materials and future resort employees. We encourage interested contractors, wellness providers and future home-owners to visit our website and register on our database (www.williamslakeproject.com),” said Tim Allred, Project Manager for WLP and VP of HRVR.
The first phases in 2014 are anticipated to be demolition of the existing resort buildings and infrastructure development. This includes new roads, electric, water filtration and treatment, and wastewater treatment in preparation for construction of the new Williams Lake Resort, anticipated for 2015.
